Clinical Study of Percutaneous Treatment with Mobilat^(¢ç) in Orthopaedics

Abstract
In one hundred-eleven patients with inflammatory or degenerative diseases in joints, ligaments or traumatic lesions of soft tissue, clinical analyses of percutaneous treatment with Mobilat were performed in a double blind trial.
The percutaneous application of Mobilat, containing the specific active substances (heparinoid substance, suprarenal extract, salicylic acid) offers a substantial advantage over oral or parenteral medication.
The satisfactory results were obtained: the improvement rate was 79.6% (43 in 53 cases) in study group but 36.8% (21 in 57 cases) in placebo group. Dermal tolerance was good and permits long term treatment without side reaction.
